The process in three steps
I like to follow a comprehensive process to ensure that we’re both happy with the final product! Here’s a look at the typical process I go through with each client.
Pre-production
This is the planning stage. We’ll work together to decide what the look and feel of the video should be and then nail down some of the logistics (location, people, equipment, etc.) Good planning will make for a smooth video shoot!
Shooting
Shoot day — this is when the cameras start rolling! I’ll capture all of the necessary footage (like interviews and b-roll) so that we have lots of video to edit from.
Editing and delivery
This is when the magic happens! I process and edit all of the footage and add music, special effects, titles, and motion graphics where needed. Once the editing has been approved, I send the requested files and help you publish the video.

A couple FAQs
The cost of a video varies greatly and depends on the details of the project. When pricing a project I consider the desired length of the final video, the number of locations, equipment required, and so on. Contact me for more information about pricing.
I use professional cinema cameras (up to 6K) and all of the equipment needed for a video shoot (lights, audio, rigs, etc.). For my live-streaming services, I offer a four-camera HD setup.
Yes! I am based in Steinbach, Manitoba and usually service the Southern Manitoba/Winnipeg area but have no problems travelling within Canada for work. Travelling, of course, comes with additional fees like airfare, hotels, etc.
Yes! I offer motion graphics and simple animation services. Sometimes a message is better communicated that way — here’s an example of one that I made.
